Brett Blows received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 1992 graduating with distinction. After working in Chicago until 2000 in the areas of sports medicine, orthopaedics and neurology Brett returned to Sydney to private practice in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for a period ten years before opening Erko Physio in 2009.

Brett has worked with various populations including performance artists, students of ballet and dance, triathletes competing in the Busselton iron man, sporting weekend warriors of soccer, netball and yoga persuasions. At Erko Physio we are experienced in treating all ages from small children to the elderly.

Brett has developed experience in the treatment of a wide variety of occupational injuries from dancers to carpenters and life savers to office workers. Brett is experienced in treating back pain related to pregnancy and in new mothers.

Brett’s special interests include the treatment of low back and pelvic pain and dysfunction, shoulder injury and rehabilitation, core strengthening programs and yoga.

Brett is member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports Physiotherapy Association.




Sally Blake
completed a Master of Physiotherapy in 2006 and also holds a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sports Science, both from the University of Sydney. Sally has worked in the eastern suburbs of Sydney in private practice and sports physiotherapy, including three years previously with Brett.

Sally has experience in treating a wide variety of occupational and sporting injuries and has previously worked with the University of Sydney Rugby Union teams. Sally has a special interest in sporting injuries (particularly rugby union and tennis) and has treated athletes of all ages from local to national levels. Sally's other interests include low back and pelvic pain and lower limb dysfunction.


 

 

 




Rafael Fortus
graduated from the University of Sydney in 2009. He has experience in treating acute sporting injuries, occupational overuse injuries and chronic joint pain. Since leaving university Rafael has worked with first grade NRL teams and has treated state and national level netballers and swimmers.

Rafael is certified in dry needling with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, which is the use of acupuncture needles to alleviate pain and muscle spasm. He has undergone further study in clinical Pilates with the Queensland Institute of Pilates and has a keen interest in the treatment of the lumber spine and pelvis. Rafael is a member of Bondi Running and Training (BRATS), competes in regular triathlons and has been a volunteer at the North Bondi Surf Lifesaving Club since 2006.
