Chris McCarthy
Chris received a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology from the University of New South Wales, graduating in 2017. He completed extensive placements in cardiac rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and complex chronic disease management. Chris is currently completing his Postgraduate Medicine degree (MD) at the University of Wollongong.
Chris has worked as a private practice Exercise Physiologist for the past 7 years, specialising in chronic lower back pain, weight loss management and exercise for mental health. Chris is a strong advocate for using exercise as a frontline treatment for chronic conditions and enjoys empowering his clients to self- manage in order to prevent recurrent injuries. Chris loves building relationships with his clients and helping them achieve their health- related goals.
Outside of the clinic, Chris continues with his medical studies, as well as enjoying running and good whisky.
