Due to the challenging and uncertain circumstances we are facing with COVID-19, Erko Physio has introduced Telehealth Physiotherapy Consultations for our patients that may not be able to attend the clinic.

Patients can expect the same high level of care with an online consultation; this includes assessment, diagnosis, advice and education. We can provide exercise prescription with a link to our online Physitrack app to allow you to access videos of your personalized home exercise program for you to then perform safely at home.

You will also be advised whether any further intervention is required by a GP/medical consultant and we can provide you with imaging referrals for x-rays/MRI scans if indicated. We can even order equipment such as supports/braces and exercise bands to be delivered directly to your door.

How does it work?

You will need to call our friendly reception staff directly on 02 9557 9272 to make your appointment for you with one our Telehealth physios Paul or Rob.

When we make this through our Cliniko booking system you will be sent an email appointment reminder with a link attached. Simply click on this link at the time and date of your appointment and your video link with your physio will begin. No need to download any apps!!

At least a day prior to your consultation please fill in and submit our patient information form found in another link on your appointment email confirmation. Please also email to us any medical scans/reports that you feel are appropriate at admin@erkophysio.com.

How do I pay and what are the costs?

Initial consult $90 for 45 minutes.

Follow-up consult $70 for 30 minutes.

You will need to pay up front with your credit card over the phone with our reception staff prior to your appointment. We will then email you the paid invoice. If you have private health insurance depending upon their coverage for Telehealth services you may be able to submit your invoice to them electronically for some reimbursement. Please contact your insurer for further details.

If you have referral from your GP and fit the criteria for Medicare Bulk Billing we can also perform this for you over the phone. Please call our staff for details to determine if you fit these criteria.

What do I need for my online consultation?

  • you will need a laptop/iPad or phone (with internet connection)
  • Please wear loose and appropriate clothing to assist with the examination
  • Ensure enough space around you to perform certain movements and exercises
  • Gather any exercise equipment that you may have at home that you think could help with exercise prescription. This could include resistance bands, free weights, tennis balls, exercise mats, backpacks etc.
