Aden Searant
Aden gained his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle in 2023. He then worked at St Vincent’s Hospital gaining broad clinical experience across musculoskeletal, neurological, Intensive Care, and cardiothoracic disciplines. This has provided him with valuable exposure to assessing and treating clients with a wide variety of complex medical conditions.
Aden has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, which has been shaped by his previous experience as an on-field Sports Trainer for Football and Rugby clubs across both Sydney and Newcastle. He applies this practical knowledge of effective injury management and rehabilitation protocols to optimise his clients’ recovery and return to sport.
Previously competing as a national swimmer, Aden has experienced his fair share of injuries, allowing him a personal understanding of the rehabilitation process. This experience has also shaped his strong interest in swimming biomechanics, where he is able to offer stroke-correction advice to help swimmers prevent injury and improve performance within the water.
Aden places a significant focus on actively empowering his clients with the necessary knowledge and movement-based interventions to achieve their personal goals. He employs a combination of functional strength-based training, as well as Pilates exercises to achieve this.
Outside of the clinic, you will find Aden swimming laps, training at the gym, or enjoying a good cup of coffee.
